Mediation & Arbitration

Attorneys who practice Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) at Jennings, Haug & Cunningham, LLP represent businesses, government agencies and individuals involved in business disputes.

ADR encompasses primarily arbitration and mediation. These services are designed to reduce risk and resolve conflicts outside of litigation, saving both parties a significant amount of time, money and resources.

Business disputes often involve relationships with landlords/tenants, employees, partners, suppliers or vendors. The arbitration and mediation process can remove the inhibiting emotional barriers to conflict resolution, paving the way for a settlement. Mediation is a voluntary process that enables the parties to determine the conditions of their settlement. The arbitration process, which is often required by contract, employs a neutral third party, who will reach a decision that is binding for each side.

ADR services are available, but not limited to, disputes in the following areas:

  • General business
  • Commercial real estate
  • Landlord/tenant
  • Construction
  • Utilities
  • Government
  • Personal injury
  • Employment

Our Mediation and Conference Center is equipped with four segregated conference rooms, digital audio and video technology, high-speed wireless internet, and intranet connections to support the ADR processes.
