Christopher Stovall joins the Firm as an associate. Mr. Stovall received his law degree from the University of Georgia in 1995 and his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 1992. Maricopa County Bar Association Hall of Fame - 10/22/2008

On October 22, 2008, the Maricopa County Bar Association inducted its first slate of attorneys into the Hall of Fame. Only forty-two attorneys were nominated by their peers for this prestigious award. The Firm is pleased to announce that its partners Curtis A. Jennings and William F. Haug were on the 2008 list of nominees, and Bill Haug was included in the 2008 inaugural class of inductees. The Maricopa County Bar Association's Hall of Fame honors lawyers and judges who have practiced for at least 10 years and have played prominent and important roles that have had an impact on the history and development of the Maricopa County Bar and the legal profession; have made significant or unique contributions to the law or the administration of justice; and/or have demonstrated significant leadership, advocacy and accomplishments in service to the community or the profession. The Firm is proud to have Curtis Jennings and Bill Haug members of the Firm. Both are Arizona natives, and between them they have over 95 years of legal experience. PEARLMAN 2008 - 09/12/2008

Chad Schexnayder and Edward Rubacha, both partners with the Firm, were speakers at Pearlman 2008, an annual surety seminar held on September 11-12, 2008 in Seattle, Washington. The main topic at this year's seminar dealt with complex bankruptcy matters. Mr. Schexnayder is a recognized national speaker in this area. Mr. Rubacha spoke on tribes and tribal entities from the surety's and the tribe's perspective. Bill Haug Receives Walter E. Craig Distinguished Service Award - 6/28/2007

William F. Haug, a partner with the Firm, received the Walter E. Craig Distinguished Service Award at the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education's annual award luncheon held concurrently with the State Bar of Arizona Convention. Bill Haug was instrumental in the creation of the Foundation in 1981. The Foundation works to level the playing field, so that all in Arizona have knowledge and access to the justice systems. The Walter E. Craig Distinguished Services Award is the Foundation's award presented to the attorney who has manifested adherence to the highest principles and tradition of the legal profession and service to the public in the community in which he lives. Curtis Jennings Joins Board of Directors - 11/07/2006

Curtis A. Jennings was elected to a three year term on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Historical Foundation. The Arizona Historical Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation whose mission is the collection, preservation and dissemination of Arizona and Southwest history. The Foundation serves as a repository for primary source materials that, for the most part, document the history of the New Southwest (20th and 21st century) with emphasis on the fields of political, legal, and business history. Previously, Mr. Jennings has been involved in a number of community activities, including serving as chairman of sections and divisions of the United Way in past campaigns. Mr. Jennings has also served as a member of the Arizona Game and Fish Commission, the Arizona Archeological Advisory Commission, the Board of Governors of the Department of Mineral Resources, the Arizona Town Hall, Arizona Leadership Advisory Council, Arizona Bar Foundation, Arizona Court of Military Appeals, and the Board of Directors of the Central Arizona Chapter of the Arizona Historical Society.

Bill Haug wins VLP Attorney of the Month - 2/15/2006

During the "For Love of Justice" program held on February 15, 2006, William F. Haug was named one of the Attorneys of the Month by the Volunteer Lawyers Program. Mr. Haug began his 50th year of practice in August 2005 and was recognized for his creativity, enthusiasm and patience in handling difficult cases. Bill Haug not only offers his years of experience to ensure equal access to justice, during his tenure as President of the State Bar of Arizona, he initiated the adoption of IOLTA funding for legal services to the poor.

Arizona Construction Section Recognizes Bill Haug's 50 Years of Service - 2/3/2006

During the February 2006 Monthly Program, the Construction Section of the Arizona State Bar presented Bill Haug with a special Award of Recognition for his 50 years of exemplary service in the field of construction and surety law. Bill Haug is a past-president of the Arizona State Bar and a founding member of the Construction Section. Bill Haug began his 51st year of practice in August 2006. Mr. Haug continues with his full time practice, providing representation to all members of the construction and surety industry and serving as an arbitrator and mediator in complex construction disputes in Arizona, Nevada and the Southwest.

The Aspen Construction Law Library has added a new two-volume publication entitled "State-by-State Guide to Construction Contracts and Claims," Aspen Publishers, 2006 and annual supplements. Martin J. Andrew Life Time Achievement Award

William F. Haug, a senior partner with Jennings, Haug & Cunningham, LLP, received the Martin J. Andrew Award for Lifetime Achievement in Fidelity and Surety Law. This award was presented on January 26, 2001 by the Fidelity and Surety Committee of the Torts and Insurance Practice Section ("TIPS") of the American Bar Association.
