James W. Washington was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1922. He is a graduate of Lafayette College (B.A. 1946) and George Washington University (J.D. 1949.) Mr. Washington is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, and the Tax Court of the United States. Mr. Washington is not admitted in Arizona. He is a member of the Tax Section, American Bar Association.

Mr. Washington joined the Firm "Of Counsel" in 1986, consulting on probate, estate planning and tax matters.
