Ms. Gagnon's practice emphasizes estate planning and probate, as well as commercial litigation.  Particularly, Ms. Gagnon's estate planning work consists of assisting clients develop and prepare a personalized estate plan appropriate for their individual and family needs.  An estate plan may include, among other things a will, revocable living trusts, special needs trust for a disabled child or family member, irrevocable trust, life insurance trust, estate tax planning, power of attorney, health care power of attorney, and living will. 

Ms. Gagnon's trial and litigation experience includes commercial disputes, collections, employment and labor law, liability and insurance defense and construction law.

Ms. Gagnon joined the Firm in 2000 and became a partner in 2005.

Ms. Gagnon is a graduate of Wheaton College (B.S. 1994) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D. 1997).

REPRESENTATIVE ENGAGEMENTS

  • Represent family members in post death administration of a loved ones' estate
  • Advise individuals on developing and revising long-term estate plans and trusts for upon entering into a new marriage.
  • Represent Arizona community in several cases involving flood plain management issues.
  • Regular representation of couples and individuals in the development or updating of their estate plans to protect themselves in the event of their disability and to provide for transfer of their assets at their death.
  • Working with families and individuals in the development and updating of their estate plans to ensure the long-term care of their children with special needs.
  • Representation of guardians and conservators of the estates of iincapacitated family members, particularly those with long-term care needs.
  • Advise clients in probate and probate litigation involving contested estates among family members.
  • Reconciliation of post-death estate administration on behalf of family members.
  • Trial and successful prosecution of construction case involving major highway road construction.
  • Successful prosecution and settlement of property rights on behalf of private landowners regarding neighboring landowner's CC&R violations.
